Pueblo Nuevo Netlabel se complace en presentar el disco “Cells for Replication”, de Yadak, proyecto sonoro de la música, artista lumínica y esteta chilena, Andrea Gana.

Pueblo Nuevo Netlabel is pleased to present “Cells for Replication”, album by Yadak, sound project of Chilean musician, light artist and aesthete, Andrea Gana.

PRESENTACIÓN / OVERVIEW:

Editamos lo Humano. Los virus necesitan las células para sobrevivir y multiplicarse. Reflexionamos sobre la vida y la muerte. De cómo la esperanza artificial nos da una nueva idea de vida hasta recordar el mar en el encierro, donde trepas un suspiro anhelante, en una profunda idea de melancolía con chispas de luz. Cuando te gusta decir que todavía puedes flotar y ver cosas buenas en un océano oscuro.

We modify the Human. Viruses need cells to survive and multiply. We reflect on life and death. On how artificial hope gives us a new perspective on life, to the point of recalling the sea in confinement, where you clamber a longing sigh, in a profound sense of melancholy with sparks of light. When you like to say that you can still float and see positive things in a dark ocean.

El disco “Cells for Replication” (Células para su replicación) de Yadak captura la atención de inmediato, generando una conexión emocional profunda desde el cuerpo, primitiva y animal. Su sonido envuelve e invita a sumergirse en una existencia que fluye en oleajes, despertando estados profundos cada vez más inquietos, conectando con lugares internos que se expresan en la intimidad. No puedo separarla de la imagen, se mueve, transita, evoluciona, te lleva… A medida que escucho, se despliegan lentamente paisajes oscilantes, creando un vaivén entre la quietud y la oscuridad, que luego se desliza hacia luces cristalinas y pulsos fluidos. Los gestos sonoros de Yadak se manifiestan en paisajes imaginarios, llenos de textura y color. Siento como si estuviera viajando a través del tiempo, atravesando diversas atmósferas vivas, casi palpables. En ciertos momentos, la música surge con una intensidad hipnótica, cambiando los tonos y otorgando una nitidez y brillantez tímbrica incluso en los segmentos más oscuros. Esa luminosidad contrastante de texturas se asemeja a un fulgor que destella en una penumbra azul profundo. El claroscuro siempre presente, llevado por impulsos mecánicos que aportan la sensación de distintos planos espaciales, tiene una intención manifiesta de llevarnos por el viaje hasta el final.

“Cells for Replication” no obedece más que a su propia emoción, y te arrastra en el tiempo con determinación. La música impregna la atención, generando una experiencia sensorial envolvente, jugando con imágenes sobre nuestra era, los seres humanos, la vida y la inteligencia artificial. Es imposible no sentir la inmensidad territorial que propone, situando la sensación física en este paisaje imaginario sutil pero robusto. Los ritmos te llevan hacia adelante, anclando un punto certero de quietud contemplativa, mientras despiertan la memoria. A medida que me acerco al final del álbum, aparece una imagen en la que el mar está cerca. En mi mente, puedo casi imaginar cómo sería sumergirme en él. Respiro profundamente y me planteo la pregunta: ¿cómo no dejarse llevar?

The album “Cells for Replication” by Yadak immediately captures attention, generating a deep emotional connection from the body, primitive and animalistic. Its sound envelops and invites the listener to immerse themselves in an existence that flows in waves, awakening profound states that are increasingly restless and connecting with internal places that express themselves in intimacy. I can’t separate it from the image; it moves, transitions, evolves, it carries you… As I listen, oscillating landscapes slowly unfold, swaying between stillness and darkness, then gliding towards crystalline lights and fluid pulses. Yadak‘s sonic gestures manifest in imaginary landscapes, full of texture and color. I feel as if I’m traveling through time, traversing vibrant and diverse atmospheres that are almost palpable. At certain moments, the music emerges with a hypnotic intensity, shifting tones and providing sharpness and timbral brilliance even in the darkest segments. That contrasting luminosity of textures resembles a glow that sparkles in a deep blue twilight. The chiaroscuro is ever-present, carried by mechanical impulses that convey a sense of different spatial planes, with a manifest intention to take us on the journey to the end.

“Cells for Replication” obeys nothing more than its own emotion, and it drags you through time with determination. The music permeates attention, generating an immersive sensory experience, playing with images of our era, human beings, life, and artificial intelligence. It’s impossible not to feel the territorial vastness it proposes, situating the physical sensation in this subtle yet robust imaginary landscape. The rhythms carry you forward, anchoring a precise point of contemplative stillness while awakening memory. As I approach the end of the album, an image appears in which the sea is close. In my mind, I can almost imagine what it would be like to immerse myself in it. I breathe deeply and ponder the question: how can one not be carried away?

Esa mezcla de climas con secuencias que aparecen está muy bien coordinada, se nota una profunda idea de la melancolía con chispas de luz, como para decir que aún se puede flotar y ver cosas buenas en un océano obscuro.

This mixture of climates with apparent sequences is very well coordinated, there is a profound sense of melancholy with sparks of light, as if to say that you can still float and see positive things in a dark ocean.
