Marginal Reset es el proyecto musical de Lars Graugaard y Sven Hahne – ambos ordenador – y Matthias Muche, trombón.
Matthias Muche vive en Colonia adonde trabaja como músico y artista mediático. Participa en varios proyectos con giras por Europa, Asia y Mediano Oriente. En presentaciones en Berna, Paris y en eventos como Arts Cologne ha introducido la música contemporánea en sus trabajos mediáticas.
Sven Hahne nace en Karlsruhe y vive en Colonia. Trabaja como artista video, programador, productor de música y ejecutante. Sus trabajos han sido presentados en ZKM Karlsruhe, Kunsthalle Muzernok (Budapest) y en Millenium Center (Peking). Sven y Matthias son miembros fundadores de ‘Zeitkunst’, una asociación para el desarollo y diseminación de arte medial. Juntos dirigen el festival ‘Frischzelle’ para improvisación y composición intermedial.
Lars Graugaard divide sus actividades principalmente entre Europa y las Américas. Licenciado como flautista en Copenhague y doctorado en tecnología de música interactiva en Oxford, el es un verdadero ‘sonologista’ con conciertos y grabaciones de música clásica, música contemporánea y música interactiva, a veces con elementos aleatorios. Lars es director artístico del festival anual ‘re-new digital arts forum’.
Marginal Reset is the joint project of laptopists Lars Graugaard and Sven Hahne and trombonist Matthias Muche.
Matthias Muche lives in Cologne and works as musician and media artist. He is involved in several formations, with concert tours throughout Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. As media artist, Matthias combines contemporary music with new media in his audiovisual works, with recent presentations in Bern, Paris, and at events such as Art Cologne.
Sven Hahne lives in Cologne and works as video artist, programmer, media artist, music producer, and performer. His works have been displayed ao. at ZKM Karlsruhe, at Kunsthalle Muzernok in Budapest and at the Millenium Center in Beijing. Sven and Matthias are founding members of ‘Zeitkunst’, an association for the advancement and dissemination of audiovisual art, and are since 2004 joint Artistic Directors of the Frischzelle festival for Intermedial Improvisation and Composition.
Lars Graugaard divides his time between Europe and South America. Trained as a flautist, he is a true sonologist having had activities as performer of classical, contemporary and improvised music, as well as a prolific composer of avantgarde contemporary music, both entirely acoustic and with extensive use of taylor-made high-end music technology. Lars is Artistic Director of the annual re-new digital arts forum (Copenhagen).
