[BIO] Galambo [Australia-Chile]
Bryan Phillips A.K.A. Galambo es un artista chileno / australiano que trabaja en artes comunitarias, música y performance, y utiliza el sonido como un medio para facilitar el compromiso con los demás. Su práctica se ha desarrollado principalmente en Chile, pero después de completar su Maestría en Desarrollo Cultural Comunitario (VCA-2013), se ha involucrado en proyectos con artistas de Timor-Leste, Indonesia y Australia. Ha colaborado en trabajos para Mapping Melbourne (2015), Gertrude Street Projection Festival (2014-2015-2016), FCACheartsJogja (2015), Flight Project (2013, Dili, Timor-Leste), Animatism Exhibition (2013, Dili, Timor- Leste) y el primer festival de arte público de Timor-Leste, Arte Publiku (2014).
Últimamente ha colaborado con Fayen d ‘Evie en exposiciones […] {…} […] (Gertrude Glasshouse-Melbourne 2016), ee // hm (Kadist-San Francisco 2016), De un cuerpo a otro (Casula Powerhouse – Sydney 2017), y el Premio John Fries (UNSW Galleries – Sydney 2017).
Bryan Phillips A.K.A. Galambo is a Chilean/Australian artist working in community arts, music and performance, using sound as a means to facilitate engagement with others.
