[BIO] AARD [Chile-Inglaterra / England]

AARD es un dúo conformado por Alejandro Albornoz (Chile) y Ross Davidson (UK), que explora la improvisación en tiempo real a través de la riqueza sonora y versatilidad de los sintetizadores modulares y el live coding, creando texturas evolutivas, transformando sonidos y polirritmos.

AARD tuvo una existencia intensa durante tres años, realizando varias sesiones de improvisación electrónica, todas registradas en los University of Sheffield Studios, también conocidos como The Sound House.

Así mismo, realizaron varias presentaciones en vivo en diversas oportunidades y espacios en la ciudad de Sheffield, incluyendo algunas Algoraves organizadas por Eulerroom y Access Space, y conciertos en el centro comunitario Foodhall, Sound Junction y el renombrado festival No Bounds.

En la actualidad, el dúo solo interactúa en forma virtual, ya que ambos músicos residen en Chile y Reino Unido respectivamente, por lo que están planeando nuevas colaboraciones remotas. Mientras tanto, están comenzando a editar material creado en esos tres años en Sheffield.

AARD is a duo formed by Alejandro Albornoz (Chile) and Ross Davidson (UK), that explores real time improvisation through the sound richness and versatility of modular synthesisers and live coding, creating evolutive textures, morphing sounds and polyrhythms.

AARD had an intense existence for three years, performing several electronic improv sessions, all recorded at the University of Sheffield Studios, also known as The Sound House.

They also had several live presentations at various opportunities and spaces in the city of Sheffield,including some Algoraves hosted by Eulerroom and Access Space, and concerts at Foodhall Community Center, Sound Junction and the renowned No Bounds festival.

Currently the duo only interact in virtual form, since both musicians reside in Chile and United Kingdom respectively, so they are planning new remote collaborations.Meanwhile, they are starting to edit material created in those three years in Sheffield.
